Abdelzaher El Saka's Konya stated that they want to keep their experienced defender in the squad.

After talk of him leaving, Konya football director Hasan Dagli said that they offered a new contract to El Saka and that they are waiting for the player's answer. He added that they believe he will stay in the team along with other experienced names.

On the other hand, El Saka's agent Alper Gokdemir told the press that his player in under contract until June 2008 and that the Egyptian will stay at Konya until the end of his contract.
