Konyaspor's Egyptian defender
Abdelzaher El Saka signed two more years to the contract
with his current club.

El Saka had a one year contract with his
team and there were some transfer speculations as he
told EP that Vestel Manisa want to sign him.
Konya club spokesman Guven Oten told press that El
Saka had interest from some clubs such as Besiktas and
Vestel Manisa. He added, "We were happy with our
player and didn't believe the speculations. But we wanted
to end those rumours and so upgraded El Saka's contract."

Oten continued, "Finally, El Saka will stay at
Konya and has signed two more years. We thank our transfer
committee for the signing. I believe he'll retire from
football in Konya."
