This weekend Belal and El Saka's
Konyaspor's played against Ankaragücü in a
game where El Saka's first half header put Konya in
a good position, and they managed to seal the game with
a second goal in the final few minutes. Ahmed Belal
was also great, but was denied by the post.

Ankaragucu weren't good at the start of
the season but they climbed up the table with their
new manager Saffet Susic, the ex-Konyaspor manager.
El Saka was one of the best players in the game. He
played a full time and scored an all important goal
too. The Egyptian was impressive in both the attack
and defence. He tried to go for goal on every corner
and free-kick, and it paid off when he scored with a
fine header.
Ahmed Belal also played till full time but he couldn't
score. Despite this fact he was very active inside the
box. He hit one shot which came back off the post.
After El Saka's goal Ankaragucu supporters threw some
objects onto the pitch and at the Konyaspor supporters.
The police's good reaction didn't lead to bigger events.
Match Highlights:
11.min: Tayfun crossed from the left corner of the
pitch. Belal met it inside the box and shot but it went
out.
18.min: Murat shot from inside the box after Erhan's
good cross from the left. But Ankaragucu's goalkeeper
Orkun saved the ball.
21.min: GOAL FOR EL SAKA! Erman sent the ball inside
the area from a throw-in. Tayfun passed with his head
and El Saka headed again, into the net and 1-0.
30.min: Umut shot after Niyazi's cross from the left
flank, but the post didn't allow a goal.
34.min:Yasin's good cross met with Tayfun inside the
box. Tayfun passed to Belal with his head. Belal shot
but the post denied yet another goal.
60.min: Birol passed square to Umut. He shot but Ozden
gathered the ball easily.
70.min: Zafer passed short from the left side towards
the box. Erman controlled the pass on his foot and shot
but the ball went out.
75.min: Niyazi crossed to the inside of the box from
the right flank. Deniz met the ball at the near post.
He shot but Ozden caught the ball.
84.min: Volkan got the ball after Erman's long pass.
Volkan entered the danger zone after some decent dribbling,
and his shot sailed into the net.
