Three Egyptians played as Konya drew with El Saka's former team Gençler, against Ayman Abdelaziz. The experiences Ayman and El Saka played full games while Ahmed Belal came on in the final few minutes.

Konyaspor came out the more dissatisfied as they were the team that missed out on the three points.

Ahmed Belal, the new Egyptian striker in Turkey, came on in the 86th minute, to see just five minutes of action, in which he had little time to impress.

Meanwhile, El Saka was one of the men of the match, and was extremely successful especially in the first half. The Pharaoh showed his aerial abilities, heading everything that came his way correctly.

Ayman Abdelaziz's Gencler were over-run somewhat, but this didn't stop Ayman from giving it his all in the centre of the park.

Konya took a 1-0 lead when the half time whistle went. Erhan scored Konya's goal. The green side had control throughout the first half and via Ceyhun, made dangerous attacks.

27 minutes in, Erhan scored with a nice header after Ceyhun's corner kick.

After 6 minutes of the second half though, Konya's Tayfun was sent off with a straight red card, in which the referee judged dangerous play.

As a result, Gencler managed to attack, and did indeed please their home fans, Bogdanovic meeting the ball in the area to net the equaliser in the 73rd minute.

Post the game, the Konya board said that they thought the red card was a wrong decision.

Belal is still getting used to the Super League, but it is expected that he gets more playing time in the next game.
