Konyaspor finally won in the
fourth week with El Saka's goal. The Egyptian was also
one of the men of the match.
The club beat strong Denizli with good
football. "The players were very good on tactics
in this match," manager Kocaman told newspapers
after the victory.
This match was also important as it was Zafer Biryol's
last match as a Konyaspor player.
Konyaspor played very well throughout the match and
so Denizli's performance was very poor.
In the first half Ceyhun was behind Tayfun to help
him in the forward line. Before this match, the manager's
plan that Levent is a right wing player was criticised.
Again in this match Levent started in this position
but in the second half he changed place with Hacioglu.
Hacioglu came to the right and Ceyhun came behind. Hacioglu
tried to help Tayfun more.
Manager Kocaman substituted Tayfun with Zafer Biryol.
"It's very hard to motivate him after a big club's
transfer offer," Kocaman told.
Konyaspor sent Bolivian Flores back and supporters
were re shocked as Belal has apparently just got rid
of an injury.
2 mins. Levent crossed from the left. Ceyhun shot with
fury, but the defence caused a corner.
9 mins. Hacioglu crossed from the left, Souleymanou
saved Tayfun's header.
11 mins. After the freekick Yasin hit the ball in the
area. He missed.
37 mins. GOAL FOR EL SAKA! Ceyhun hit a corner kick
into the box, and El Saka scored with a nicely placed
header!
75 mins. Serhat crossed. Erman couldn't hit the ball
properly.
77 mins. Erman crossed from left. Hacioglu's shot was
turned away by Souleymanou. Tayfun sent the ball into
the net on the rebound but he was offside.
