One of EP's reporters in Ankara,
Hayri Diker, speaks the mind of the loyal Genclerbirligi
fans, following El Saka's move away from the club.
The annual TSYD Cup which EgyptianPlayers.com
have covered for the last two seasons was played last
weekend, and was a successful tournament once again
in Ankara.
As usual, Ankaragucu and Genclerbirligi were involved.
This meant that the clubs of the new Ahmed Hassan and
Ayman Abdelaziz were playing. To add to this BB Ankaraspor
featured, and Konyaspor were invited, meaning that Abdelzaher
El Saka was to play in Ankara once again but with his
new club.
The first day:
MKE Ankaragucu SK 1-0 Konyaspor K
Genclerbirligi SK Ankara 3-4 BB Ankaraspor K
The first day saw Ankaragucu face Konyaspor. Ahmed Hassan
didn't play but Abdelzaher El Saka played the entire
game. A disappointed Konya were defeated. The only goal
was scored from a header by Umut Bulut.
Ayman Abdelaziz's Genclerbirligi hit the net four times,
but one was an own goal, and so they lost 3-4. They
also missed a penalty during the game via Isaac Promise.
Ayman wasn't in the selection for the game.

Third place game:
Genclerbirligi SK Ankara 1-1 Konyaspor K 3-4 on penalties
Gencler could have won third place in normal time had
it not been for Promise missing another penalty kick.
El Saka played from the start but the manager chose
to take him off in the 87th minute, planning for extra
time. Gencler ended up losing on penalties.
Final:
MKE Ankaragucu 1-1 BB Ankaraspor 1-3 on penalties
No Egyptians were involved as Ankaraspor beat Ankaragucu
3-1, marking an end to the annual competition.
