Ramadan Ragab's ex-club Istanbulspor are in deep trouble after Abdelzaher El Saka and Ayman Abdelaziz's Genclerbirligi beat them 3-1.

El Saka and Abdelaziz travelled to Istanbul for the game, and with nothing on their minds but pride, they played a great game.

Ayman played a decent game, helping in the attack, while El Saka was hardly troubled in comparison to his team-mates.

It took just over 10 minutes for the Ankara-based club to take the lead. Sertan played a good cross in from the right, which was hit on the volley by Kerem. It looked as though he was going for goal, but it went across the face of the goal and Mehmet was there to tap the ball in. Ayman's new partner in the midfield was off to a flyer!

Despite this, Istanbulspor equalised on 29 minutes,as a corner was played at the near post, and flicked in by Yalcin's head into the far side of the net.

Omer, Gencler's keeper, was lucky to get away with nothing as he looked to lean and leap onto an attacker after an Istanbulspor cross.

In the second half, Gencler took control. Still, Istanbulspor had a goal controversially disallowed for a foul on the lucky goalkeeper Omer.

Mehmet added a second goal, as Sertan turned wonderfully past two defenders, put the ball into Mustafa, who let it run through his legs. Behind him was Mehmet who slotted the ball home.

Istanbulspor pressed, but their lack of strikers was present. Both Ahmet Dursun and Ramadan Ragab left, the former back to Besiktas, and Ragab back to Egypt. On the counter, Gencler scored the goal that sealed the encounter, as Skoko played the superb Sertan through on goal, and the striker slotted the ball over the keeper and into the net.

With this win, Gencler are comfortably playing to entertain, with hopes of European qualification faded. The club now have a strong team, with a magnificently made midfield and attack clearly showing.
