Ekramy decided to call it a day and return to Egypt. It is not yet known if he will cancel his transfer deal to Ankaragucu and return to Feyenoord or he will retun to his home country.

Sherif faced many problems at Ankara which started from improper housing that forced him to live in a hotel. In addition to this, the coach asked him to break his fasting if he wants to start in today's game versus Gaziantepspor, a thing that Sherif completely rejected and as a result, he packed his bags and decided to fly to Egypt.

Ironically, Sherif never had a problem with his coaches at Feyenoord in Ramadan in the years that he spent in Holland.
