Egyptian shot stopper Sherif Ekramy played the 2nd
half in a couple of friendly matches for Feyenoord.
He helped his side achieve a 12-0 win over a 4th division
Austrian side and kept a cleen sheet. He also played
yesterday against 2nd division side FC Dordrecht and
the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Egyptian goalie Sherif Ekramy continued
his preseason preparations with Feyenoord. The Egyptian
started to participate in friendlies and played the
latest two matches.
Sherif played the 2nd halves in Feyenoord's
latest two friendlies. He played the entire 2nd half
in their final friendly in the training camp in Austria.
They faced 4th division Austrian side Fulpmes and won
by a massive 12- score.
After the return from the Austria trip,
Ekramy and his teammates played another friendly on
Saturday as they faced FC Dordrecht. Ekramy started
on bench as Timmer played the first half which ended
in a 1-0 lead for Feyenoord. In the 2nd half, Ekramy
conceded a goal from a one on one situation and the
game ended in a tie.
Despite conceding a goal, the Egyptian helped his side by
making some important saves especially near the final whistle.

It should be noted that Feyenoord announced
earlier that they are prepared to let Ekramy go on a permanent
basis.
