Egyptian shot stopper Sherif Ekramy is not needed anymore
at Feyenoord according to some Dutch sources. The report
claimed that Ekramy will be sold permanently and will
not be loaned out.
Dutch sources claimed that Feyenoord are
not willing to keep Sherif Ekramy anymore. The Egyptian
will be transfer listed and the club will not listen
to loan offers for the 25 year old Egyptian.
The club sports director Peter Posz claimed
that Feyenoord didn't see the Egyptian develop in the
way they hoped and so, loaning Ekramy out won't be the
best option as they see that the Egyptian unlikely to
improve much in the future.
According to Posz, Feyenoord are willing
to listen to offers for Ekramy, but if no club offered,
the Egyptian will stay as a second or third choice in
the goalkeeper position while Timmer will remain as
the first choice.
It should be noted that Ekramy attracted the attention of
French side Nice, Turkish outfit Sivasspor and Spanish 2nd
division side Real Murcia.
EP wish Ekramy the best in his next destination...
