Feyenoord are planing to renew Henk Timmer's contract
and keep him as the main keeper for another season.
This will likely result in the departure of Ekramy who
waited for his chance for long to be the mainkeeper.
Sherif Ekramy will likely leave Feyenoord in summer.
This has been confirmed by a club spokesman who revealed
the club interest in offloading the Egyptian to another
club as Timmer will remain the main keeper for another
season.
Ekramy still contracted with Feyenoord
till 2010 but he will not likely play first team football
because of the presence of Timmer. The Egyptian will
likely be transferred to another Eredivisie club at
the right price, according to voetbalprimeur.nl.
The website also confirmed that the club is currently looking
for the right replacement for Sherif Ekramy as the two young
keepers that the club have are not qualified to play at this
level in the mean time.
