Amir signing the contract
The Egyptian was presented in a brief press
conference. He revealed his happiness with the move and praised
the Turkish football and their national team:
"I am very happy to be here. I want to
help my new team but I know I will have to adapt to Turkish
playing style first, I hope the adaptation period won't take
long. I dont want to talk much. I want to let my performance
on pitch talk about me. I already have European experience
as I played in Greece and Cyprus. After Euro 08 matches, I
was in awe of the performance of Turkish National team and
I know that I came to a high level league. I hope to be succesful
here."
