PAOK lost their last three matches in
the Greek League, and their latest defeat was at the
hands of Larissa by two goals to one on Sunday.
Shikabala played the full match against Larissa but
couldn't help PAOK win any points for the third consecutive
time.
As a result, the board decided to appoint a new coach
to help the side get back to winning ways and achieve
a respectable league position this season.
The new coach is the former Romanian international coach
Ilie Dumitrescu, who decided to leave his job as manager
of the close to bottom side Kallitea and accept PAOK's
offer.

The Romanian will lead PAOK in their upcoming tough challenge
against Olympiakos on the 26th February.
